I have been on ADs since February 2007 and have gone cold turkey today (without consulting my GP as yet) so coming to the thread and having such a nice giggle is definitely good for my mental health!! Brillant :T"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Jo - I know what you mean about feeling panicky about not drinking.
I just worked out that to beat my AF result from 2009 I have to have more than 11 days AF for every month. I'm worrying already that I won't do it and then I think well if I can't beat the target then why try at all.
Why is it so hard! This stupid weather isn't helping either, it's making me want to just stay inside while it's dark and cold and get merry. I don't know why I can't seem to relax without alcohol.
I'm thinking about doing a 5 day detox thing every month so at least I know I will have a few days every month when I won't have alcohol.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

A guy walks into a pharmacy.
He says to the pharmacist, "I've heard a lot about that viagra stuff. Does it really work."
The pharmacist says, "Yeah, it works great."
The guy asks, "Do you think I could get it over the counter?"
Pharmacist says, "Well, if you took enough I suppose you could."HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
