Hi guys :hello:
Back on line now
Thing is I have purchased a new laptop, an expense that I could have done without but my Ds located that on my old laptop it is an hardware failure and the cost to repair would not be cheap. It is exactly 2 years old  So I have been out to get a new one so as my Ds could set it up for me, I am not very techy
Still a nice Christmas has been had in the Budgie hooooose. Santa has been very kind, well my Ds has
His gifts to me were:
1 - Box of Wine Gums
2 - Body shop body butter
3 - Body shop gift set
4 - Another body shop gift set
5 - Remote control digital photo frame
6 - Samsung mobile phone
7 - Christian Dior perfume
8 - Spa day for two people, which includes 3 treatments each :j
I was sooooooo thrilled and I feel very spoiled. (Still I am worth it)
So I hope everyone has had a good Christmas? I shall try and catch up a little
Also my Ds shipped home his Samsung 40inch tv as he has had a new one, we have put it in the lounge and our 32inch one in the conservatory. So really pleased to have gained a tv. It helps being bigger as Budgies eye sight is not too hot.
I have also decided that I MUST GIVE UP DRINKING, I have pondered over our lovely Graeme's posts about needing to change oneself. I posted for the first time almost a year ago now and here I am back to the same point of wanting and needing to cut down.
So I begin again in my quest to be a better me.
Once more into the breach dear chaps and onwards and upwards. I shall do it, I know I can and I intend to change myself and to be a better me.
Btw thanks to our Darling Jo for posting my Merry Crimbo message, I mean I have had to get a new laptop how will I do in my quest if I cannot log on and get the support of all of you lovely people?
So luv n hugs guys, and Dear ole Honey B please put me down for 31 in January.
God Bless and remember: "Cherish the ones, you love" :A

Hi Budgie
Well done on the BB. We managed to win about £160 in total . So all in all well worth doing.
The puppy is fine. He is now fully house trained and is DH's dog. (Yes , he who said he would never get a dog:rotfl::rotfl:)
DS1 named him Sparky.
Good to be back .. I don't know how I managed to stay away so long.;)

Did you have a good crimbo? Oh and btw where is Bhb?
Is he still struggling with his turkey or was he having parrott :rotfl::rotfl:
Still its nice to be back online, had to remember my password though
Its blooming freezing here as Ds and Mr BB are installing a 2nd satellite dish for the tv in the conservatory, it means that we can watch different tv channels. Done via a dreambox
I have gotta say, after 5 hours of football the other night it is most welcome or it will be
Ds said the same about my soap fest :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Glad Archie has bitten the dust though, he made my skin crawl. Yuk
Oh but its good to be back ................
The quest begins again .....................

Eta hiya 40sm and like the name sparky my Ds used to have a friend of the same name, he was into computers etc. Glad Dh has taken to him ....................Cherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home

Hiya matey :hello:
Glad to be back
Yes the quest does begin again, but this time we will get to where we want to be. (Hey you can count on it)
I notice the eye is back too
Hope your crimbo was a good one, and well done for putting up all those cheery lights :T Hope things are sorted/better with the neighbour now?
Budgie is back at work tomorrow, I am so not looking forward to that
In the quest to be a better me, it is to also loose some weight, I have put on a stone :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Oh pooey bottom stink ..........................
Thats what red wine does for you, all that sugar and empty calories. Yuk
Btw off topic has anyone had or thought of being hympotised so you don't drink at all
Or is it a case of just determination and holding the intent?
On a sad note we have found one of our Koi carp dead today, he was very big and we have had him a number of years, not sure if its down to the cold or what?
Ok must pootle and wash my conditioner off. Have had it on a few hours now

Hi All,
Hope you don't mind me joining you all. I used to post ages ago, but stopped drinking and stopped posting/lurking (stupidly). Did well for ages, but fell off the wagon and straight into a bottle of wine about 3 months ago, and it's been downhill from there. My OH still drinks and actively dislikes me stopping, although that is his problem not mine. I'm definately a 'one day at a time' girl, but am aiming for 100 days from today. I was going to leave it until 1st Jan, but can't see the point. I need to stop so I'm stopping now.
Cheers Guys
