What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

How are we all today? Nearly Friday (thank god)!
OH offered me a bottle of wine last night.....and I turned it down! He thought I was il...thats not a good sign!:rotfl:Truth be told, I was getting near the end of my book and didn't want to have to re-read it again today! (700 pages in 3 days - new record for me!)
Hope all you poorly beings are feeling better today. Lots of bugs going round...I've avoided them all so farm but am guaranteed to get one soon. I always end up with a cold for christmas!
No more lego bidding disasters so far:rolleyes: Mums gone a bit mad and is bidding on everything in site so I'm just sitting back and letting her do the work!:D At this rate I'm going to need a VERY large box to put it all in!
Anyways, best get on. Piglet is telling me to get off the pooter so he can "see me"?!

Well done Miss P
I went to a quiz last night and a bottle of wine was opened for me - although it sat there staring at me for the whole evening with various bods trying to egg me on - I took the car and also I bought some lovley elderflower stuff that was so expensive - I had to drink it!!
Survived and the wine was subsequently put back away - hurray.
Stupid I only got through it (and it did sort of feel like an ordeal) by telling myself if I wanted to drink I could drink later but not then. Wierd watching the one guy who quaffed a bottle of wine in 2 hours - really odd to watch his reactions/gestures change.
Hope everyone is OK today.....................Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

morning all. hope everyone doing ok today - the sun is shining here in Berkshire - hurrah! 25 for me please GG and thank you Marru for offering for December.
I heard from my friend yesterday who has just got in touch with AA. She lives abroad (she and her husband emigrated a couple of years ago) and I have told her about this thread as a great way of getting some support as I think she may feel a bit isolated over there and things have been a bit tough for them.
For me, I know that without all of your support, I wouldnt be in the good place I am today (long may that continue) - even after a relatively short space of time - and I hope she'll find the same comfort and wisdom (and laughs!) that she is looking for.
Take care everyone and have a good day.
