    Thanks. For the past 30 years I have never even ventured down the supermarket aisles that sell at those kinds of soft drinks/squashes - I have only ever looked at the alcohol ones!
    now a whole new world opening up to me - all sorts of alternative beverages need exploring! Have already got hooked on camomile tea, horlicks etc. Thanks for introducing me to this one - will try out!!

    Try it with chilled fizzy mineral water, it has a real zing to it.
    Orange and passion fruit J2O on lots of ice is great too. Lidl (moneysaving bit here;)) have it at 12 bottles for £5 at the moment.

    WOW! Elderflower is making this thread fly along must have some zing to it!!

    I'm trying to stick to tap water and one cup of low-cal chocolate at the moment but I might look at that syrah stuff someone mentioned (Mr T?) to see if I could look forward to that and cut back on my drinking days. OH drinks that J2O passion stuff in pubs when he's driving but it doesn't work though ;)

    Well done GP on your AF and lardloss, sorry to hear you're feeling under the weather.

    Well done jo on your week and also your liver. wb, I take it from your calculations that you're having 2 bottles on a drinking day. That got me thinking, I've only budgeted for saving one (3 for £10) bottle on AF days but on drinking days I have at least 1.5 bottles and then some at parties. I have had 3 horrible hangovers this last three Saturdays and I need to keep the thought of thick head and queasy dehydration in my mind.

    fedupski, you're doing brilliantly, I'll think of you (and the rest of gang) when we have jumps to clear later.

    Have a good afternoon all. Weather is a bit grim here, might have to go walking in the rain.

    Hello,

    40SM - sorry but that was so funny - I do hope you didn't hurt yourself
    Molly - that is excellent news
    Fay - you are welcome to PM me a rant any time!!!

    Fay has already decided on my behalf that I will have af day today and as I don't want to mess her spreadsheet so be it. I have finally got rid of that horrible migraine - woohoo! Now rushing to deliver some leaflets, this is my first time on that particular area so I don't have a clue how long it will take me, must get it all done before heading off for a holiday on Thursday and hopefully before Thu as not to have to drag DD with me.

    :o:o:o quite often, esp weekends, but even if I don't drink all of the 2nd one I always throw away what's left so I have to "budget" for 2 bottles. Sometimes I chuck away a full glass which is 1/3 bottle, with the (usually vain) hope that there's more chance of being af the following day if there isn't an opened bottle available. Not sure which is worse - the amount I spend or the amount I waste.......

    Half-term is upon us :eek::eek::eek:

    thanks! I might give that a go. I have to say I am a big fan of Lidl and there's one quite close to me. I love their yoghurt and also their cheeses etc!
    Looking out of office window it looks very dark out there!! Husband has phoned and said he has lit a fire at home as it is so cold so it will be lovely and warm when I get home, bless him. Looking forward to nice dinner (pie, mmm!) and a book and an early night. Might even paint my toenails!!
