Thanks. For the past 30 years I have never even ventured down the supermarket aisles that sell at those kinds of soft drinks/squashes - I have only ever looked at the alcohol ones!
now a whole new world opening up to me - all sorts of alternative beverages need exploring! Have already got hooked on camomile tea, horlicks etc. Thanks for introducing me to this one - will try out!!
I liked this at it sounds like me.:D
Am currently experimenting with the various brands of fizzy water.Living Sober.
Some methods A.A. members have used for not drinking.

Forgot to tell you...I think DH has realised he is drinking too much:D
He has cut down over the weekend by only having two small bottles of beer per night instead of copious amounts of whisky (although he did have a few at the party Saturday)
And last night,......NONE:eek:
He was still awake when I got in from work (usually asleep as has to get up at four) and had worst nights sleep ever.
He said today that his whisky usually sends him to sleep and last night he was wide awake.
I have told him this will pass. Can't remeber how long it took though:o
I asked him if he was scared that alcohol has so much power over him....he didn't answer but said he will have none tonight and as he is not spending his pocket money he will buy me a takeaway on Friday and take me out for dinner on Sunday.
I think if he carries on with being AF I will get fat again:eek::rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl:
I hope he can do this.....He has drank everyday since I have known him...30 years....Started in the Airforce.....all that duty free and no sleep.
Baby steps and fingers crossed.....I must be very gentle with him.:rotfl::rotfl::happylove :happylove

Well done Jo on you AF week and the money not spent!
Well done Fay for the scoring
As for me, last night AF and over halfway into the 72 hour AF challenge. Had to leap over a high fence at tea time when the thoughts of drinking arrived. Luckily, nothing in to drink and the challenge helped me hurdle the fence.
Good luck for today everyone!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Aw MP that's good small steps
And, um not doing great aside the af bit - but works kicked in again - away for a walk - heads too muddled up - more deadlines, no support (aside the mountain of IT equipment they've given me with no access to work files or the internet here - I really should work at home) and supposed to pull a magic white rabbit out of a hat.
No brainer - no wonder I am stressed.
Ergh sorry for the brain dump.
Scoring is only down to spreadsheet NOT ME!
It spits out numbers and I think OK
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -

Can't believe how quickly the thread is moving again today

Hugs Fay, try not to let work scupper your good work on the 72 hour challenge ...sending lots of hugs x
MP my dh has cut down as he thinks he might have an ulcer, he should get his results back Thursday...I love it when he sticks to his 'not drinking in the week' thing that he does sometimes as it really helps me....I must do something about that though as I should be taking more control over myself..
Blowing a gale here too, heating on here also
Well done on a whole week Jo :TStarting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000
