I only worked it out cos I scrolled back up & realised it was in relation to Christmas  Was still a bit of a shock when first logging on tho! :D

Not AF tonight; finishing a bottle of wine opened yesterday &, instead of going out for a second as I was tempted to do earlier, I put the hot water on for a bath :)

    Off to get clean :D

Hot water still isn't working right... No word from my landlord either so need to chase that up :(

Am waiting on a new mobile (replacement, no cost involved! :p) and nowehere online does it say this phone does what I want it too so I'm somewhat dubious, despite confirmation from 2 different people from the mobile company involved

Am going to go to bed instead of pondering about it on here all night :)

    nite nite all

Just catching up. Not AF tonight but pleased to see that everyone sounding a bit brighter than a few days ago.

It took me a while to 'recognise' the humbug too. I love the getting together and partying at Christmas but a bit fedup with buying 'stuff' that we don't need or want. Last year we limited presents to children only and it made a big difference.

    Hoping to be AF tomorrow.

Glad your broadband sorted BHB and that you're sorting out extra help with beer problem.

    'night all.

There you go Miss P :D

    Ahhhhhhhhhhh...........eggggggss.....

Mum made me a big jar last year and gave them to me in November . All gone by December the 1st! She was most annoyed!!:rotfl:Best shoved in a packet of crisps or in a sandwich....yuuummmmm. Ah crapola....forgot am on diet. Best find some low fat things to do with pickled eggs this year!

3 for me please Lovely Fay!!! (days that is, not eggs!)

Doing exercise seems to be taking my mind off of wine, which is great! Piglet thinks I'm mad when he see's me cycling away and not getting anywhere. He'll be even more surprised later - my exercise DVD has just arrived in the post so will be jumping around to that later! (now theres an image for you all this early in the morning :rotfl:)

    **waves** to everyone!

Morning all, thanks for telling us it was supposed to be a humbug, I thought it was some kind of deli sandwich on a weird bun!

I forgot the forum updates last night and felt quite freaked when I came on and couldn't post. Although I did read the other posts instead. Funny how lonely I felt when I've been off the list so much recently but it was ok because I knew you were all here 'waiting' for me. Err, probably just me then.

Miss Piggy, you made me laugh. My old cat used to find it very strange when I did my exercise DVD and used to come and check on me at the end with her whiskers when I was doing the stretching and relaxation bit! I miss her.

I've had another AFD yesterday so up to the grand sum of 3 so far this month. I am going to be near temptation tonight, will see how I feel later. Too asleep now.

This not drinking is bad for me, makes me feel sooooo tired!

    Have a good day everyone

Ohh, fay forgot to say I'm a fiver a day please.

morning all! thanks Fay for the lovely scoring and personalised little notes in there - you are really managing your scoring duties beautifully!
AF last night so that's 13 for me so far this week and the time seems to be flying by!
I too didnt know what that humbug was - I thought it was some sort of chocolate eclair or sumfin! How funny!!
Hope everyone is feeling good today. Miss P you sound very "up" - it's kind of infectious!
    Catch you all later!

    Morning all

Away to scurry off to work again soon - ah where did my long weekend go?

To the galaxy (:)) and beyond 69chick *
Thanks for the update, phew you got online eventually to post well doneWBF*
Exercising away keep it up Miss P *
I am not sure about the 'accurate' or 'beautuiful' scores but thanks for saying so Mrs Dee *

Well done to all those chaps cutting down, giving up or just generally around and reading - I love this thread it keeps me on the straight and narrow - I survived being away - only a couple of days of really honestly moderate drinking (I am hoping to kick it completely - thinking of an apointment with my local alcohol place - baby steps ) - I will update list and totals later on when at me desk with my lovely spreadsheet :)

That programme made me think, OK there's a normal chap, he's alarmed etc by giving up/cutting down etc - it is a very powerful drug - I was kinda shocked by the effects that it gave (ie hte other 'drugs' you'd need to take to feel the same).

Those pesky little fungi's making alcohol - I might have known it would be plants to blame.:o

AFD's make me groggy but slept ok was in bed by 9.30ish :)

You should have known that :D

Started a new weeks counting yesterday - addiction place said I must aim for 5 units a day by next Wednesday. I managed to keep to 5 last night so that was a good start. :j

Fay - we have a plan for the winter - we are planting new mixed hedgerows and a willow wood ... only a few hundred all together but a good start hey?

    Have a great day everyone
