Glad I popped on here, feeling rubbish today, not feeling like drinking but dh is already planning to nip out for a few beers, will need to stay strong and not get him to bring a bottle of wine back.....anyway you lot are making me feel much stronger

Think a few biscuits might be in order with a nice brew

Afternoon all

7 units for me last night and another 6 today. Doesn't leave much left for the rest of the week but will be OK

Fay - Glad the wind has dropped a little. Thought of you yesterday as we were walking on the beach in gales. I said to Mrs BHB this must be your normal weather :eek:.
We have three small holes in the new polytunnel now - though pretty sure it was down to youngest son, not flying debris :mad:

Fell out big time with one of our neighbours today. I rotavate her garden, sweep her chimney, cut her hedge, do other odd jobs for her, Mrs BHB gets occasional shopping for her (bearing in mind she has a 37 year old son at home and another one down the road). I took the guttering off our bit of the house to paint underneath last week, now she has accused me of changing it so it doesn't flow the right way, where as in reality her side is actually falling off the board as the wood is all rotten. I am so annoyed as I was then about to offer to paint her side too:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:...... sorry for the rant ..... have taken it out on the keyboard.

Will shut up now.

Oh and one more thing, I had the most disturbing dream last night, I dreamt I had a brain tumor and the doctor kept pushing a rod up my nose all the way upto my brain But when the day of surgery arrived I was not happy as I kept saying they hadn't given me a scan and how could they be sure? The Doctor replied that he could see it on my forehead and he just knew it was there. Not pleasant at all ..............................

Oh god.....feel like death warmed up today and all self inflicted. Gulped a bottle of wine and couldnt leave it at that last night and followed it with 2 whiskey and cokes!! I dont know how many times I've been told not to mix the grape and the grain. When will I ever learn.

Took the dogs in the car to park for a walk....prob shouldnt have been driving! Had to pass the offie and stopped..........dont think anything other than alcohol will make me feel better. I'm trying to put off opening it but the bells are a clanging!

Really do feel like I been hit by a bus. This has got to stop tho or I'll never get my !!! in gear and get myself a good job! So I am not alcohol free today but I will definately try tomorrow. Feel sick as a dog at the moment.

Hi everyone

Had my usual bottle of wine last night - my Saturday night treat, couldn't do without it. Well actually, a bottle and a third, but it was over 5 hours ... Back on the wagon again now. I must admit I felt foul this morning, but OK now, been to the gym.

The thing is... (confession time) ...that I do fancy myself as a bit of glamour puss (in my dreams! :rolleyes:) & I haven't yet seen any pjs that fit that image Except black silk ones, obviously

Anyway, moan moan grumble grumble, the hot water problems seem to be catching as I barely had a deep enough bath to get a paw wet :mad: Phonecall to my landlord tomorrow, methinks
