Where you live? Come round, loads of left overs for OH when he comes in. But he's out drinking so we don't need to feed him, you have it :D

Haha, thanks, I live in Lincoln though which is probably a long way from anyone else on here.

Plus I walked in from work to a lovely dinner cooked by my OH tonight so pizza would just be greedy.:A

Su & FPT, don't feel bad about drinking last night, todays a fresh new day so start with a new approach. Hope you're not feeling too hungover :) xx
Thanks jo. Amazingly I felt ok this morning not hungover at all and OH brought me tea in bed to say sorry for being such a pig yesterday evening (tea was too milky but hey he tries). So far this evening I haven't had a drink but I can't declare today AF yet as it's still early. I bought some fruit and herbal teas today so I'm going to see if I can stick to those. An AF Saturday night would be a real milestone. I'll post tomorrow to say whether I've achieved it.
This thread moves so quickly that if you don't sign in for a day you have missed so much, but I am trying to keep up. I really love to read of the support and real friendship that some of you seem to have; obviously some of you have been fighting this battle together for quite a while. I intend to keep with this and I know that even as a 'newbie' I have the support of the thread members. i do appreciate it:A

You are very lucky, I waited an hour and 10 minutes for said pizza, then it turned up cold. One was 'just' acceptably warm, the other two were stone cold and hard, even cheese had turned orange and leathery, oddly the garlic bread with cheese was fine, so were the chicken wings

DD1 was mortified when I picked the phone up, told me to leave them alone  I don't think so!! It wasn't literally inedible but it wasn't enjoyable so I spoke to manager and will get 2 free pizzas next time. Suits me cos it was the kids one that was fine and they're happy and OH's one will be cold and congealed by the time he eats it anyway as he's gone out on the pi$$, so it was just me that suffered in the name of getting a freebie  :D

Thankfully the ice cream we ordered hadn't melted

I don't think of you as a newbie anymore cos you've been around for a few days :rotfl: we will support anyone and everyone that walks in, some only need the encouragement so that they can save a few quid, others (like myself :o) 'need' a little more reinforced support and encouragement and it's not just about the money. Whatever the want or need, we are a happy bunch (most of the time) and love having new people about to chat to :) Good luck for tonight, take it 10 minutes at a time if you have to, whatever you're happy with :) x
