Beware Travelex Online

Before going to America on 4th Sept I ordered £500 of dollars online. I picked these up at the airport. On returning yesterday I checked my bank statement to find £500.16 had been taken off TWICE on the same day at the same time. I phoned travelex who say they will refund my money but it could take up to 10 days. Be very careful using travelex online !!!!

TBH i've used them probably 10 times in the past and have never had a problem at all when booking online to collect at the airport.
Not saying that it isnt annoying, as I wouldnt be happy if it happened to me, but I doubt its a regular thing!0 -

Same here, and apart from the time that I forgot to pick up my currency (my fault, not theirs!) I have never had a problem. Even on that occasion, they allowed me to collect the money from their office after security.

I did have a problem once before when I ordered and paid for currency then just as I was leaving for the airport they phoned to say the currency wasn't available and they would refund my card in 10 days. I had to go on holiday without the currency and without the money in my bank to get more !travelover0
