Payment on a debit card ...

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I bought a few bits from Asda online, things like electrical goods etc, last Friday. The delivery was about an hour late so I phoned to complain as I had to be out somewhere. The goods eventually turned up and they gave us a free online voucher for the 'mistake'.
Nearly a week later and the money for the goods still hasn't left my bank account. I paid with a debit card if that makes a difference. Usually if i've ever paid for their home shopping including food, the money always comes out on or just after the day.
How many days later can they take the money? it came to £67. I'm not complaining of course but i've just realised there is only £40 currently in the account and I cant get to the bank till saturday to put more in there. I completely forgot that they hadn't taken the money.
Just wondered if anyone had this before? I don't need them taking the money today or tomorrow and putting me overdrawn in that account!
Thanks

they can take the money out at any given time with no notice up to 6 years from the transaction - you have already given them permission to do this.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Legally they can take the money for 6 years.
Banking systems will prevent them taking it automatically well before that - don't know how long but it will be several months at least, so you are in danger of getting overdrawn0 -
I'm not sure if it is possible, but prehaps you could call Asda and ask them directly. They could prehaps take the payment again and cancel the last one if it is showing on their system. This would obviuosly be the best thing to do if you are very morally minded and really worried about being overdrawn ......
.... I personally would wait with fingers crossed and hope it doesn't appear!!! (terrible person!)0
