Fiat Grande Punto 1.3

Looking at a Fiat Punto 1.3 multijet diesel.
Pre reg 58 plate on offer at £9000 OTR.
This is a saving of £2350 on a new model.
I thinks its a good deal......anybody think otherwise ?????

i think they look nice but there are some people who get caught up on badges. Fiats do have a reputation for being unreliable though but not sure what the Grande Punto's are like for reliability.

I have a 56 plate Vauxhall Corsa with the 1.3 diesel (90ps) fiat engine and it is a great engine, feels very powerful for a 1.3, done 30k so far with no problems and getting 55-60mpg on a mixed cycle. My dad also has 57 plate corsa with the 75ps engine and unless you are really thrashing it there is no noticable difference in performance.

I was looking at both the corsa and punto when I got mine and in the end only went with the corsa due to slightly different specs and the GM card discount, they are 75% the same car anyway. I would have no problem with the fiat badge, they make a good range of cars these days (not including the panda...)
