Received first £3.55 from Amazon which I have transferred to MBNA.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
Another NSD today!!!
I've spent all day at home and it has been great. I've mucked out DD's bedroom filling a black sack with junk. Nothing fit for selling - pity.
Sold another DVD on Amazon today so will have to go out and post tomorrow.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
:T NSD x 2 - or maybe more now?
When you listed your things on Amazon, were they things that there were already lots of copies of? I started doing some ebaying at the weekend, I found that the books and DVDs I want to get rid of are not very popular - loads of copies on ebay and Amazon for pennies, so probably not worth me listing?
Cheers

4 x NSD hurray!!
I'm going to the post office after lunch to post my ebay & amazon sales from the weekend and then I'm going to do a tiny bit of shopping. I'm getting a lift to town and will catch the bus back to save on petrol & parking.
Hi CBM - in answer to your question about Amazon some of the items I listed had thousands of others for sale so i don't know why mine sold. If it was a book I listed as new and put " read once by me in a smoke free home" - hope that helps. I'm actually amazed that my things have sold & they weren,t always the cheapest so there's no logic to it all. It doesn't cost anything and it's so east to list - a fraction of the time to list on ebay. I've just put the books and DVDs in a plastic box and as they sell take them out. Hope this helps.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -

Working all dat tomorrow taking a packed lunch so should be a NSD - fingers crossed!Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
Wow PBH on the Quidco and Paypal :j:j:j!!!! And sounds like your mojo is really flowing for the listing on ebay and Amazon - I managed to list and upload just 5 on Sunday, I just checked and 1 has a bid and 1 has a watcher :T.

Well done Pbh on the money making! I might try and persuade OH to sell his old books on Amazon. He only reads morbid true life drug smuggling/prison type books and some of them were quite expensive. He'll never read them again so they're just taking up space. Personally all my old books I take into work and other people borrow them and put a few pence in a tin. This money is given to our office charity of choice at Christmas. Every September I take any surplus books to our MacMillan coffee morning and sell them there. Maybe I should start looking out for myself and selling them on Amazon instead!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Another NSD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoping for another tomorrow.
I'm worn out baking, preparing packed lunches, computer, wrapping and dashing to the post office but it has to be the way of life doesn't it to get DF?
Two more books sold today.
CBM - watching items on ebay gets addictive doesn't it?
SA - it's great that you're making money for Macmillan sell OH's books instead.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
Unbelievably another NSD - the reason a very long day at work with packed lunch and when I got home I didn't feel like proper cooking so we had pasta then yoghurt cooked and eaten in about 20 minutes!!
Got notification from Amazon that I've sold another 2 DVDs and a book.Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
Hi PBH,
You are doing well with your NSD, unfortunately I am not.....I have been selling on ebay and paying out for the postage has been draining my cash. I know it will all balance out when I withdraw my money from Paypal, but it stretches me until then. I have also been buying in the sales, christmas gifts, cards, paper etc. I know in the long run I am saving lots of money, but it must come to a halt for the moment. Its hard work this money saving and paying off debts, but I did also get a good deal on Travelodge accomodation for 4 nights in the summer. A family room for 4 for £22 per night, that's my kind of break.
