London trip

been thinking of taking the girlfriend away for a trip to London for a couple of days. Anyway after much searching this is what sort of thing I am after at the time. I just wondered if anyone knows of anything better out there:

Wednesday 31st may - 1st June London trip for 2 adults. Includes Kensington 4star hotel with Hilton and each of us get a London pass for the two days. this is £129 which I thought aint bad...any other suggestions?
Work hard play hard......

Depends on how posh you want it to be. If you book your travel more than a week in advance the coach and train fayre will be cheaper. Then it depends how posh you want the hotel to be. There are cheaper ones in London but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately London is extortionate and for the price you will pay for a hotel there you wouldnt get as good value for money as you do somewhere else.

    I usually use this site:

    http://www.activehotels.com/

or go to Michael's Guest House which is on this site:

    http://www.a1tourism.com/uk/london-north-west.html

But beware with Micheals Guest House you REALLY get what your (not) paying for. But if all you want is somewhere to dump your belongings and sleep and you plan to be out and about most of the time it might be just what your looking for.

I just booked a hotel for 19-21 May in London using Priceline's name your own price. I got a 3-star hotel (Thistle Victoria) for £40 a night+tax. If you're not too bothered about which hotel you get, just the standard and the area, I can recommend it. Better to do it last minute so your low offer will get accepted.
https://www.lastminute.com have some decent deals for theatre+meal if you want to do that, or if you have time and inclination, tkts booth in leicester sq.
