Do you need a new car? As long as the current one is not about to fail an MOT expensively then keep it until it does. Replacing a car when it's not necessary is a luxury purchase.0

No i dont need a new car, mine is only 05 reg and plan to keep it a few years yet it was just a passing comment i made to OH but his attitude rubbed me up the wrong!

Try sitting down with him to prepare an SOA, so it can show him really how much money is (or isn't!) floating around? Putting everything down in black and white might start him thinking and show him that there isn't perhaps as much money spare as he thinks there is.0
