Resturant vouchers in the US

I am off to the US and want to know if there are any good websites like money saving expert.com for restaurant deals, is anyone aware of any?

You are in luck. At www.restaurant.com you can buy vouchers (usually something like 10$ to buy a $25 voucher for a named restaurant). Until Sunday there is a discount code which gets you 70% off that price (bringing it down to $3). The code is TREAT.

I found out about this site on the MSE Las Vegas thread. You have to enter a credit card and it tells you to put your exact address. You will however have to put in an American zipcode. Just use any one (eg 89123 - in Nevada = NV). It goes through and you then print out your voucher. Lots of MSE folk have used these. They last a year so it's quite handy to buy when the sale is on.

Just be careful of the terms and conditions which are different for each restaurant - usually there is a minimum spend a a hefty American-style tip is added to your bill. But it can still be a really good deal.

Also, in many places - particularly touristy ones - there are lots of free magazines and flyers with discount coupons.
