Googled the router and NTL here http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2005-15,GGLD:en&q=LINKSYS+WRT54GSUK+ntl
Loads of people say they are OK. Why not give NTL a ring to be on the safe side if still unsure after reading above?Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

I bought exactly the same router pack from currys a few weeks ago (to go with the laptop I bought from the proceeds of matched betting
)
I have it working with my Telewest CABLE modem, but it should also work with an ADSL modem with an ethernet port. If you are using a usb modem however, then I think you might have to get an ethernet/usb adaptor. If this is the case, I'd personally go for a different router because the cost and hassle of getting an adaptor outweighs the benefits of the bargain price on PC World.
I haven't used the freebie wireless adaptor yet as my PC is wired to the router via the PCs ethernet port.
By the way, this modem was VERY easy to set up and has worked faultlessly on my 4mbit connection since I bought it. Not one single dropped connection and very good/excellent signal from bedroom to living room in my wee terraced house.

If you're on NTL Cable broadband (and not NTL Freedom), the router should work without problem. I have the same exact model and I'm on NTL Cable.0 -
