It looks as though they have started retrospectively removing the bonus from UK players accounts as well.
That's a bit harsh... looks like I just nipped out of this one in time. I have some concerns regarding that 119bet thingy thread, it just sets my alarm bells ringing for some reason.Nothing to see here...0 -
I would go with the "must be logged in to view" idea. This means people would have to sign up and hopefully will then add to this forum instead of just running off with the offers. May not help too much in the "piling in scenario" but is worth a go.
Allowing google bots is neccessary for the PR rating of any site (not that this site needs help) i believe it may be written into the forum script to allow them.0 -
And we have briefly discussed making it only visible to logged in users, but then again I guess google could have it's own bot
I think that's probably the best solution. Well not solution, but possible help. It's not exactly the type of board that contains vital information for which an arguement to keeping it public could be made.0 -
I & I think most (not all but I suspect most) other people would be in favour of having to be logged in to view. However I believe Martin has said before that there is no possibility of that being introduced & since it's Martin's site there's no further point discussing it...0

Has he said why??
I mean - a precedent has already been set with the "Debate House Prices, the Economy & Recession" board...0 -
Good find, but I guess that was down to this

(Not read whole of thread, but the 1st post seems to indicate why)
1. Anyway, we're all a friendly bunch, so that's not going to happen here I guess
2. Also, MK, our only BG (and Jess in the past) do/did a great job deleting any bad posts before most got to them, although I think they weren't in the majority (see point 1 above)
I can see why he doesn't want to make it closed (so it can be found by google), although if it means it's increasing people's chances of having cash taken off them because of it, that's be a good reason to make it closed
Anyway, my 2p worth0 -
Hi all,
I'm moving this to the site feedback board where the team will be able to see your requests for changes to this site, especially the being able to log in to view.0
