Hi all
I'm currently in receipt of lrm/dla & national insurance credits (had savings which r now below £16k. Applied for ESA today as was prev on income support but no longer can apply for that. Just wondered if I have been given the correct advice to claim for ESA? Thought i'd just go back on income support as technically no break in my claim except that i had over £16k, can anyone advise pls? I haven;t worked in 2 and half years & have been sick all this time, long-term mental health issues. Been adv to also get a sick note/med4? Any help appreciated, thank-you.

If your savings are below 16k but above 6k you will still lose £1 for every £250 above 6k,I would say that technically you possibly werent on IS as you only got n.i. credits,I could be wrong, might be worth a trip to CAB or welfare rights to see if they are correct.0
