  • Can i ask what size tray or dish did you use to let it cool down and harden in? i havent made fudge before but would love to give this one a go! :D

I used a 9" square dish and lined it with greaseproof paper

Do make sure you use a LARGE BOWL when cooking it in microwave,as it does boil up the bowl!

Thanks for posting that! Sounds yummy - and easy!

Can I ask what you put it in to cool down? Do you just line a deep baking tin and pur it in?

Janey - I think any bowl that is suitable for microwave use will be ok? Correct me if I'm wrong though (before I have melted plastic and fudge all over the microwave! lol!)

    xxx
I cook it in a large glass pirex bowl and

I put it in a shallow glass dish to cool, cut into squares and eat all the odd shapes around the edge!:rotfl:

and I am afraid it wont keep till christmas if you cook it now, but you have to try it out first don't you?

mine is kinda crunchy too think its the sugar:confused:
maybe less sugar , if anyone could help i would like to
make this again but less off the sugar crunch lol
  • Hi Millymolly and threelittlepigs
the only thing I can think that may be going wrong is not quite enough cooking to completely disolve the sugar? is your microwave oven the same wattage as mine (see my recipe) because you would have to adjust the time according to your oven, or your tin of condensed milk was a different size?
anyway try again and again untill perfect!
