Wireless Router for PS3

Anyone help me out my missus is doin my head in with me dismantling the router to disconnect my PC & connect my Ethernet Cable into my Modem to play my PS3, so to stop her nagging at me looking to purchase the best wireless router for my constant online gameplay of my PS3, can anyone please help

i had a netgear dg834g (before it got taken out by a thunderstorm) and it was a brilliant router. there are various revisions of this router (v1,v2,v3 etc) as well as slightly newer versions (dg834gt etc)
however, i'd always run a console via an Ethernet cable to reduce lag during online gameplay.0 -
yup agree with G-G above - if you get a decent wireless router then it should have extra ethernet ports so you can plug a cable into the back - always more reliable for gaming than wireless. you will need to make sure you get the correct router for your connection whether its cable (like virgin) or phone line (BT/Sky etc)Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
