Mamas and papas Herbie pram

I've had this pram about three or four months, it does not live up to standard and hardly any of the 'functions' work, i have to take the base off of the chassis to close the pram and then it does not close properly anyway, if i want to put the car seat ontop of the chassis it doesn't go on easily at all and i feel very unsafe doing it as you have to wiggle and jiggle the car seat about (whilst baby is in it) to try and get it to fit. The wheels lock and unlock themselves, the hood is fading and the pram has even started to collapse when i was pushing it. I do not feel that given i spent £500 on it it lives up to standard or the purpose it is used for.
I've also just been told that a friend had to return this same model as it collapsed completely with baby in it. I looked up reviews online and i've found the same thing. I would like to return it to the shop and change it for something 'safe'. Am i entitled to do so, surely if they know the collapsing thing is happening they cannot turn a blind eye? x
