I currently have the M package. However they are charging me for Talk Internationl and Talk Mobile as part of the package.
Could i ring them up and tell them i dont use these two services and would like them ended?
Or do they come as part of the package and thats it?
I thought i would ask in here first before ringing them
Thanks

I have the M package and don't get charged for these. I seem to remember them asking if i wanted them when i first signed up though so it sounds like you are paying an additional charge.0

Talk Mobile and Talk Intl are £18 a year (each) bolt ons, their is no need to have them if you dont want them.
Further savings could probaly be made by using http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php
via their 0808 freephone number.0 -

Broadband & TV package such as this, without phoneline - £31 - Saving £4 on the price you would pay with a phone line.

Check the prices from the 18185 link earlier in this thread.
Don't know how much a post office phonecard charges, but to phone say Canada from your Virgin line via 18185 is just 0.5p per min.
Edit: Just had a look at the post office card. 18185 is usually cheaper.
Post office:
Australia: 2.5p
Canada: 3p
France: 2.5p
Germany: 2.5p
Hungary: 3.5p
India: 8p
Ireland: 2.5p
Italy: 2.5p
Jamaica: 8p
Russia: 4p
New Zealand: 3p
Pakistan: 9p
South Africa: 5p
Spain: 2.5p
landlines: 2.5p
mobiles: 21.5p
18185 via freephone number from Virgin landline:
Australia: 2p
Canada: 0.5p
France: 2p
Germany: 1p
Hungary: 4p
India: 4p
Ireland: 2p
Italy: 2p
Jamaica: 9p
Russia: 1.5p
New Zealand: 2p
Pakistan: 9p
South Africa: 3p
Spain: 1p
landlines: 1p
mobiles weekdays: 10p
mobiles weekends: 4p
In the above examples, with 18185 they are all cheaper except for Hungry which is 0.5p more, Jamaica 1p more and Pakistan which is the same.
Some are a lot cheaper such as India being 8p with the post office and 4p with 18185Martin Lewis is always giving us advice on how to force companies to do things.

I do find Virgin Media the most baffling service to pay for EVER. Numerous conversations even as high as the CEO when I first joined couldn't explain why my bills were different to the verbal contract I had (never recieved a paper one).
I gave up. I signed up to £20 a month, and two years later am now getting billed £33. Sod it.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
