Ebay - international sales

Wondered if someone could give me some advice,

I'd like to start trying to sell internationally, but I'd like to do it with a separate ebay account, can I do this on ebay.com or does it have to be through ebay.co.uk. Also wondered if it's possible to list the stuff so it is only view-able and purchase-able by international buyers so as to keep it separate from my uk stuff.

Thanks

  • Any advice would be great
  • I don't know if you can stop particular geographical areas seeing your goods (I don't think you can), but you can set buyer restrictions so only people from certain countries can bid/buy. The changes Ebay are making this month include better control over this, so if you check out Soolin's sticky thread on September changes that might be a start point for finding out more about that. Search Ebay help for 'buyer restrictions'. This gives the same control over all items in an account, but you can set restrictions per item when you list.
