Neil Herron is indeed knowledgeable but I have to ask a question or I will be remiss.
There is no implication whatsoever that Neil is mistaken and it should not be inferred.

The registration number of companies is the key element. Although the names are different they may may both be backed by the same registration number. I know for a fact that Companies House allows quite a bit of relief in this situation.
Are the two names in fact backed by different registration numbers ? You may verify by looking on the Companies House website.
    .

Two different companies - the local authority had a contract with one, but not with the other. I believe there was a TV programme about this as a considerable amount of collected fines had to be repaid.

Are you explicitly confirming that the registration numbers of the companies are different ?

I posted here in order to help the OP and so don't particularly want to take the discussion off topic . I have stated twice that it's two different companies and can categorically confirm that they are registered with two different numbers.

I do agree that Neil Herron is indeed knowledgeable and once again provided the correct information to defeat unlawful ticketing.:T

Thank you., As I said it would have been remiss of me not to ask. Also I am sure many readers may not have known the key differentiation between companies.

In the arena of Private Parking Companies much is done by those companies to obfuscate and avoid identification. Thematically there are clear inferences that should be drawn from that.

    Quite simple questions I thought?

You either want to resolve this or you don't. No wonder you describe yourself as stressed!

Simple basics please. Name of Council, exactly what correspondence you have received and how you come to be involved.

My stress is not about a parking ticket !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but some are quick to jump to conclusions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As post says my mother had just died or didn't you read that !!!!!!! Aren't you insensitive !!!!!!!!!

    BTW Sorted parking ticket
  • Don't really blame Neil, all to often he asks for information to help a poster. Not surprisingly he gets a mite tetchy when they ask for help but don't give details, it does make it very difficult to give advice. Glad you sorted ticket, how?
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
