I have known this happen in the past, they just turn up and say they never received a cancellation. The deposit does not make much difference.

As a photographer there is NO WAY I would turn up at a wedding without a) deposit b)signed contract c)full payment and d) details from the B&G of what photos they want.

So I very much doubt you'll hear from this guy again. Don't worry - just go and book the other photographer.

I have booked the other photographer already, he is very popular and has only been going a few weeks. Great photos aswell and knows what he is on about!

The other guy won't turn up because he was supposed to collect the money two weeks before the wedding which I won't be paying. He has defintiely got the cancellation email, I just wonder if he will ask for the money in 9 weeks or if I won't hear from him again!!

Not too bothered anyway the new guy is fab where the other was useless!

Hey there, no still no reply from the other one!! He is either not going to reply or will get in touch two weeks before the wedding for the money lol!! I migth resend the email this week stating that I had no reply from the first one I sent. Will wait and see what happens, but he is just proving a point that he never replies to my emails!!

He is proving a point that he is a useless photographer who cannot manage his own business!! Proffessionalism is not his strong point.

I would love to be a fly on the wall if he asks for the money 2 weeks before - he can whistle for it.

Let us know if he does dare show his face again!!!
