Photgrapher problems

Hi everyone, well I have sent the email, but no reply as yet. Will let you all know how I get on! I am going to see the other photographer this evening, so hopefully the first one will email me back before then!

Good luck tiger - If you have only just found out that it will only be for 2 hours then I think you are well within your rights to cancel as it does not fit the purpose for you.

Am glad you cancelled it TigerLilly. I wouldn't have been happy without seeing someones portfolio first.

I love the "due to unforseen circumstances" line! I was just about to post that. Let us know what he replies, and dont feel bad. At the end of the day communication has been poor, it's good though you are giving him notice too xxx

Well, there still hasn't been a reply and I sent the email last night! I have kept a copy of the email and it has definitely sent!

I am going to see the new photographer this evening and really want to book him, but should I just book him even though the first photographer hasn't confirmed the cancellation?

Hi Guys, well there is still no reply from the first photographer. I have been to see the new one and he is wonderful. Really easy going and very easy to get on with. For £440 I get: photographer from 2pm until 9pm, all my photos on cd copyright free, and 50 prints. I am so impressed and have booked him!

I will update if I ever get a reply from the other guy.

Give him a ring so then your not wondering if he is going to reply if so far he has hardly replied to any of your other emails.

You will probably have two turn up.

I have known this happen in the past, they just turn up and say they never received a cancellation. The deposit does not make much difference.
