Repairing plastic cover on mini greenhouse

The plastic on my mini greenhouse has started to tear away from the green tape edging in one place at the front bottom of the structure. I know I could buy a replacement cover but as I'd rather Make Do & Mend, I wonder if anybody can suggest a suitable way of repairing it which will be strong enough stand up to the pressure of the inevitable breezes which put pressure on it occasionally.

  • You could try some quality ductape. but to be Honest the New covers that are being sold these days are reinforced and stronger

I repaired mine with the extra strong duct tape stuff but TBH it didn`t last very long, both the zips started to pull away from the cover and it was more trouble than it was worth, today was very breezy so i`ve binned the cover and put the frame in the shed.

The shed is now really tidy as everything is on the new shelves :D
