Windows Virtual Memory Too low?

Hi everyone , i have windows Xp professional ,
i have 624 MB of RAM , i keep getting messages saying windows virtual memory is too low , i have tryed changing it in performance but it still saying it.
any ideas what i should do?

Either add more (real) RAM or don't start up so many concurrent programs.
Incidentally that is a very strange amount of RAM - how is it made up?0 -
Virtual memory should usually be 1.5 x the amount of RAM you have. So set it to either 936 meg (both min and max) or set it to system managed.
Also buy some more RAM.

But I agree with you that 144 MiB is an unusual amount for a graphics requirement.0 -
I think it's more likely that an incorrect number was quoted.
Regardless of that less than 1GB on XP will certainly lead to this problem. Given the number of plugins most websites need these days you could hit it with only a browser open.0
