Who's been on my laptop

A lad who came to my house yesterday, with a friend of my son, helped himself to a go on my laptop. When I came in he was just closing it up.... I'm concerned about what he might have been doing on it, what sites he visited etc., but other than looking at the history (which has been deleted), I don't know how to delve deeper to find out and erase anything I really don't want on my pc. Can anyone help me with this please? I don't even know if what I want is possible.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Yes, it is password protected. My son had been on it when they rang the doorbell and forgot about it being on.0

Have a look in the "Temporary Internet Files " folder or the cookies folder.0

Bless you Hairy_g, a useful suggestion. As a complete numbskull when it comes to computers, it might take me a while, but I'm going to give it a go!!!:o0

Given the interests of most teenage boys it may pay to wait until your wife is out. Saves embarrassing explanations.0
