Post Check In Inventory Issues

Very long term lurker, first time poster.
On the morning of our move in date we had our inventory and was given the keys.
The guy doing the inventory seemed quite rushed and was moving through the rooms very quick, but I was able to spot a few things that weren't originally noted in his inventory report.
Once he had left and over the next few days after that we noticed a few things that should most likely have been mentioned in the inventory but were missed by both us and the inventory guy.
These things include:
A cracked tile in the bathroom
Damaged floorboards
A series of pin holes on the top of a doorframe which is pretty hard to see when you're looking for it, but it's still damage.
All these things are obvious that they had been there for a while, the few damaged floorboards especially, as they look like they had been done ages ago.
I've mentioned these things to the LA and their stance is basically "Well you signed the inventory at the start so not much I can do".
So...is there anything I can actually do?
I don't fancy having to pay for cracked tiles when we didn't cause the damage.
Any help would be most welcome :-)

Next take photos and make several copies. One set to the Agent, some more sets for you. Send one set to yourself in a sealed envelope and keep that safe with its postmark. Don't open it but save it.
Once you get notification of where you deposit is lodged [I am making this bit up - but you should see the sense of it], write to them with a copy of the letter you sent to the agent and a set of photos, telling them that discrepancies were noted on the inventory, and you are lodging information now to establish timeframe.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Thanks for your reply and advice
Would taking photos now actually make too much of a difference. I like the idea, and will do it, but with the LA saying these things should have been noted on check in, but can see them just saying "Yeah, so what?" about the photos. Will the photos have much standing?
I mean, can you really see EVERYTHING when you're going round with the inventory person? You try to see as much as you can, but there's always something.
The LL has been good so far and agreed to change the front door which has cracks in it, but I think it's more the LA than the LL that are proving to be a pain.0
