Jay Jay thanks so much that is really good to know. I think I will look around to see other places that I would be able to get them from closer to the time but keep an eye out in store and give my local stores a call in feb time.

Have you tried a small independent florist? We got our button holes (roses) from ours and they were cheaper than if we'd bought them from Tesco. Might be worth asking...0

Where are you based? You could go to market (Western International or Covent Garden) or there's a brilliant flower section at a garden centre in Camberley.
Also, how about trying a local greengrocer? The one near us sells lots of flowers pretty cheaply. If they are going to market they can buy what you need. Mind you, you never know what is going to be at market until you get there. I know of an event florist who bought so many blue delphiniums for one particular event there was a blue delph drought for several days. Everyone was cursing them.0 -
I'm thinking of using Marks for our flowers, they always seem to stock cream roses, and they're 2 bunches for a fiver. I reckon four will do the bouquets and button holes, then will add in a purple colour either with ribbons and crystals or other cheap purple flowersRemember to always be yourself-unless you suck.
