ntl netguard antivirus program

hi all is anybody using the free ntl netguard antivirus software from ntl
i've downloaded it but as of yet have not installed it
i'm currently using norton antivirus but just wondered if it was worth switching to the free ntl netguard
it is updated frequently so it sounds quite safe
any info would be great.

Hi. Yes I gave up Norton for it. It seems good enough, updates about twice a day. You can do all the usual stuff, full scans, block pop ups, netguard etc. I've had no problems for the last 6 months or so.

I tried it and it was fine apart from the fact I have 4 user accounts under Windows XP and each time I switched from one account to another I had to wait for it to shut on the one account and wait for it to load up again on the next one.
I normally use AVG free which seems to be always open in each account as you switch accounts.
I couldn't solve it and in the end got fed up with waiting for it and uninstalled it and went back to AVG.
