hi, i have just bought a 7" linx digital photo frame and i can't get it to read the sd card.
is there a specific way to add the jpegs to the card from my pc?
i first formatted the sd card then copy and pasted the jpeg's to the card then put the card into the digital frame and followed the instructions.
no joy!
anyone help me here?
thanks

Can you recall what filesystem type you used to format it?
It's likely that it will only be able to read FAT16 and FAT32. IIRC it's possible to format an SD card with other filesystems that it won't be able to handle.
Also, make sure all the filenames end with .jpg (they probably do anyway, but worth checking).0 -
Drag 'n drop is better, easier and faster.
Is the Linx set to READ from the SD card?
Can you READ the pics back on the PC?0 -
How big is the card? Is the frame SDHC compatible?0

Looks like you need an SD card. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

SD cards only come in 2gb max.
The price of these seems to be going up, as with with other memory.
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=777 - seems as reasonable as anywhere.0
