Hi,
Does anyone here suffer from a sarcoma of any type or know anyone who does?
My partner has:
Myxofibrosarcomas
This is a type of fibrous sarcoma and the most common type of sarcoma in older people. They were previously called malignant fibrous histiocytomas (MFH). It is not clear which type of cell they start from. Myxofibrosarcomas can affect any part of the body, but most commonly occur in the arms or legs.
But his has appeared in his chest wall and has reappeared in the same place along with his shoulder muscle. Two weeks ago he had the tumours removed and also the chest and shoulder muscles. He has little strength in his right arm but can use it to some extent.
It would be nice to hear from someone who is aware of this awful disease.
