Can I ask what version of Windows the computer is running that iPlayer does work on? This might be where the problem lies!

It is running Vista Home basic and i use Opera.
I am am close to giving up on it.
I can watch things on the iplayer website but just cant download the things i want to watch while not online and also the dam icon dont work in the desktop.
Its giving me a sore head lol
Also when i downloaded the iplayer it downloaded the flash player as well but i cant see that on my pc.
I have just found the flash player on pc and its the Adobe Air and 10 that ive got.0 -

According to this, Vista Home basic isn't a supported operating system, but since it works on the other computer, that can't be the problem.
I assume this doesn't apply?
The flash player should be in the add/remove programs list near the top as adobe flash player active

I have found it and its Air ive got on there as well as 10 but as i say wont let mke get into via the desktop icon or download the tv shows.
The player seem to have installed itself as its in the Add/remove bit but wont let me get to it via the desktop icon or let me download the tv shows.0 -
