    Alternatively, you could try and calculate what CSA would be - 20% of his net income. If you know his net income you can work out whether it is worth trying to claim via the CSA.

    It sounds like the ex may run a business and have an accountant - which makes 'income' and proving it quite tricky, there are all sorts of ways to offset things against tax, pay his new wife, shares etc.... there maybe sneakier ways to extract money "I haven't got enough to buy the school uniform this term so when you have the boys at the weekend I've told them you are taking them to get it" or sneakier "The boys want to go with their dad as a father and son thing to get their new football boots"
