My current internet set up uses a wireless router but i'm looking to change isp and the new ones provide a modem and software on a cd to access broadband and i wondered if i can still use this with my router?
i'm just worried that i won't be able to connect it all up properly or that i might need to abandon using my router with would mean losing internet connection to my wife's pc.

dependson the router, some of the BT ones can only be used on BTBroadband but if you have a Netgear or Belkin or Linksys then it will be no problemEx forum ambassador

Unless your changing provider cable to phone line then your existing equipment should be fine.
with ADSL (BT line) just change the username and password in the router config0 -
As Browntoa post, if you've BT Voyager wireless router provided free by BT Broadband, you may need to get a new router.0
