They are in new jersey in the us (newark).
On their site it says

See MSE International Call Checker:

Maybe use 18185 for 0.5 pence per minute plus 4p connection fee via the 18185 from a BT line or 1 pence per minute plus 4p connection via the 0808 or 020 numbers.
What provider are you with? Do you have a 18185 account?0 -
I have succeeded before now calling USA 1-800 (freephone/toll free) numbers via 18185 (I have a BT line and a 18185 account).fredted40x wrote: »Hi, im trying to phone a company in the us from the uk but not sure what number to dial using 05pence.

In the case of the first number you quoted, I would have dialled 1818518003597701 and paid 4p connection + 0.5p per minute.
However, the 973 number you quote is an ordinary geographical number and would have cost me the same to call. In that case, I would have dialled 181851973-242-8080 and still paid 4p connection + 0.5p per minute.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
