Most CC companies have now changed their policy so that any gambling site transaction is classed as a cash advance. Shame really as I used to get 1 percent cash back doing things like that. I suggest you use a debit card for any gambling site in future.

    thanks John.

exactly what my card company told me too.

  • I feel like I've been swindled. £5 worth of tix (to support a charity client - I needed to find out what it was all about), but £2.50 worth of card charges on top of this. I kinda admit that I skimmed the Ts & Cs, but I feel like Monday are conning people.

They say 30% goes to the good causes - I reckon £1.50 is actually only 20% of my £7.50.

I'm not really bothered about the money because actually if you want to give to charity do just that - and Giftaid it - but I am bothered about feeling conned. That plus the dreadful site performance means I won't be playing again.

Martin - can you recommend any journalists who might bring this "inaccuracy" to light?

My dad is with them and the he got an email saying his account was blocked because someone has tried to get his password hint too many times.

No one from my house has gone on the site since my dad signed up. Thankfully my dad didn't register any bank account details with them.

    Hi,
Sorry I have no idea what section to put this thread under.
I was wondering if any one else has joined the playmonday lottery and had any problems I registered on Saturday, I then tried to deposit but it kept saying my postcode was wrong. I have rung them twice today been on hold for ages and twice been told it was sorted but I still can't deposit any money as it isn't recognising my postcode.
I was just curious if anyone else has had the same problems. I can't play today so will have to wait and see if they can sort it next week.
    Cheers

I have been trying since it started and can get no response from them apart from the general email they are sending out. I think in my case it is because their address finder includes my house name with the street and there's no way to correct it. It's a shame, I would have liked to support this one.
