  • well im still in a job:D. so so so happy and relieved.

    just a warning,im determined to prove myself now.

    and also has been a massive eye opener. so im more determined than ever to rid myself of debt!

    im going to have a few beers 2nite and chill out for the first time in a few days.

    Thats good news, i know how you feel I had quite a bit of debt but I did loose my job due to redudacy, things are so hard to manage when you suddenly have no money coming in.

  • If you haven't already, join a union. They will make sure that the employer sticks to the letter of the law and will represent you at meetings. A friend, although supportive, is no substitute in this sort of situation.

  • hI glad it all went ok, just wanted to say join a union, I went through something similar at my last job and the union were really brilliant. I was picked on due to ill health, threatend with a disciplinary for being upset at facing redundancy ( I worked for a well known charity!). Union got me a really good settlement in the end and saved me so much stress. Still not working due to ill health but my situation would have been dire without my union rep who really knew their stuff.
