Beware the BT Trap........

in Credit cards
I have followed the advice from this fantastic site (less unglorious technicolour would be good!) and changed my credit card at the end of its zero interest period.
I signed up to my first affinity card - Macmillan Cancer Relief. The whole process took nearly three weeks - hardly hungry for business!!
Upon registering the new card, I was asked for the balance on the old card. This being a Halifax Credit Card.
As both cards are owned by Bank of Scotland, I was informed that the BT cannot happen. Back to square one?
A Consumer Warning notice would be handy, please :money:
Regards Mike H

Martin warned against this in his articleTo be happy you need to make someone happy.0

Plenty of warning it seems. Maybe warn yourself next time.0

May be true, but rather harsh criticism for a newcomer!0
