having new shower room & have decided against wet-room as the tray is set under the concrete & if anything goes wrong you've got to hack up the floor - so will have to have a shower tray so I want a slimline model but I don't know which is the best, stone cast resin or acrylic - any info or advice anyone? - many thanx

I had two acrylic shower bases in my house - both cracked and needed replacing. I put stone in to replace them.
The only advantage to acrylic is that you can get shapes other than square or rectangular. Having said that, I wouldn't buy acrylic anyway !!!0 -
With a shower tray the less movement that there is then the least chance of getting leaks. Get the one that seems the firmest (I would imagine the stone cast resin)I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0
