naturally a spread bet is on the change in average house prices in either the UK or just London, and there is likely to be a big difference between the average and your particular flat, so its not a perfect hedge0

That difference in spread also works out at 0.625% per month, if prices fail to move by 2.5% by end of December then IG are the only ones in profit.0
