Appeal.

An appeal is also treated as a new claim, so if you appeal the benefit is awarded pending a decision, so you receive the assessment rate until the appeal is decided. If you lose the second new claim ends so you appeal

You do not have to ask for a revision and wait for a decision before appealing.

I sent the GL24 form to appeal against the dicision but as the letter says, they are looking at the decision again and if they can not change the decision in my favour they will send my appeal to the Tribunal Service. Therefore, I have to wait to hear if they are revising the decision in my favour or sending my appeal to the Tribunal Service.

Chased round all week gathering info and letters from GPS etc filed them G24 form for appeal 14 pages .... and they lost it! Im still out of payment till they do.. luckily had copies done it all again after 5 months of this charade IVe had enough Im meeting my Local MP in a few weeks to file a complaint againdst delivery service and ATOS
This whole process is a disgrace 90% of ppl failing medical in my area spoke to woman at job centre she told me of some horror stories ppl not sent ESA 50 and weeks later there claim cancelled because they dodnt ring to find out wen it was supposed to be sent to them

Im hoping I wont have to go to appeal that Im put into work group and I can access the PAthways to Work as I thought I would be doing in July, the idea of having to wait 6 months for an appeal fills me with dread... sick of being stuck in Limbo because of red tape and other ppls incompetence.
