    Tells me I'm not eligible
I would LOVE a monitor - my bills are way too high which is mostly 'cos the rented house I live in has absolutely rubbish insulation & no thermostat controls and it would be good to know if there's anything I've not thought of draining electric!!

if you can get landlords permission you might be eligable to have loft and cavity wall insulation done for free. bg's scheme did my loft insulation when i was with them 3 years ago, just had to get a letter fomr landlord saying it was ok for them to do it iirc. worth investigating to see if you qualify...depends on what benefits you get. other energy companies also offer schemes for it.
  • I have received my freebies from British Gas. Thank you so very much, this is absolutely amazing. I am so impressed, thanks again, this will save us lots of money enabling us to monitor our electricity usage and budget accordingly.:T
