If one of us puts a code on for you some lurker will use it and say nothing (wasting your time and effort as well) which is why I have given up on the whole sharing thing on this thread. I'm quite happy to tell people where I have seen the promotional cans which only helps if they live in the same area really. I hate this whole rude thing. Also anyone who asks on pm - I'm not allowed to send them via this method anymore. Sorry but we've been told the rules and have to stick to them. One more thing pms that say "hey have you got a spare code" are a little less flowery than I like. I much prefer the please and thank you ones. I also like anything that alludes to me being fab or thin. :A.

Latest sighting on asos Diet Coke. 24 cans in Sainsburys Telford still hidden behind the non promotional ones.

As an addition to this very sensible post, Poundland in Central and West London still have these cans, by the crate. My cousin works out near Heathrow Airport way, and she told me she buys a Diet Coke every day and that they're always the pink ASOS cans.

Hope that helps. As shoegal says, we aren't allowed to PM codes, yet if we put any up here, they will be taken by someone for who they were not intended. Lurkers rather than the person who asked.

    Sorry.

Shame that a bunch of lurkers have created such a tense atmosphere among actual members... :(

All people had to do was ACKNOWLEDGE that they have used a code. (A 'thanks' doesn't hurt, either).

What I object to is 1) the sheer rudeness and lack of manners from these swipers, not to mention ingratitude, and 2) the fact that people do not say when they have used a code, and this then creates frustration and disappointment for people who think the posted codes are still active. If I post a code, and someone says "Thanks - now used" I will go and edit my post to cross the code out, or something. But I, and my fellow posters, am unable to do this, thanks to lurkers/swipers.

Yes there might be more to life than all this, but it's the principle which has upset me.

I still hope that the rules can be relaxed or something, because I have lots of spare codes, and seeing as min spend is £20, (then minus £5 with the code) you still have to spend a min of £15, which I can't afford to keep doing.

But rules are rules, and like I said, I don't want to lose my account.

This happened back in 2006 with the CD WOW codes, if anyone remembers that?

I have had a response from the powers the be. Apparently these codes are classed as advertising which is why they don't allow them to be PMed. They will not look at things on a case by case basis because of the vast amount of posts on MSE. There is no way I will use my 15 so I will either give them to friends or put them on my Facebook page or something. What a shame for the honest and fair posters on here.

    Someone could try 248B911BD1EC.
I'm not sure if it has been used already or not - sorry if it doesn't work.

I resorted to buying one on eBay this morning for 99p. I hope I get it before the item I want sells out!

Re the 28 pms I have got. I'm really sorry but I can't risk being banned from this site. I only have 14 anyway so couldn't share with everyone even if I was able. I really am sorry and feel awful but I've tried to get the rules relaxed on this by emailing abuse and was told no. I have done my best to help and not got anywhere.

    Ditto.

To the people who have PM'd me, thanks for taking the time, and I really sympathise, but I also can't risk losing my 4 year account.

If the rules are ever relaxed, rest assured I'll be happy to share.

I'm glad I was able to share at least some of my codes before this was clamped down on.

And, the above example where someone swiped "ali99"'s code just proves my whole point. That person couldn't even be bothered to state they had taken and used the code. Others have then tried and failed to use the code and it's just a massive waste of everyone's time.
