ASOS - New Codes

The reason it's not working anymore is because someone used it and didn't say so. It's a once only code so if someone swipes it and says nothing it gets other people's hopes up and wastes their time. That's why I suggested PMing in the first place because I hate rude people who can't even be bothered to thank someone. It really makes me . So I apologise for breaking the rules (unintentionally I promise). I'd rather my codes went to someone who asked nicely and makes an effort to say thanks (manners cost nowt), rather than some loiterer who just takes and is downright rude. Ah well - that's my explanation done.
Any Telford folk on here - Sainsburys has the asos cans behind the new stock right at the back of a shelf. You need arms like Mr Tickle but it can be done. They are still in Poundstretcher and PRH but nowhere else on my usual bargain hunting routes. Unfortunately I still think it tastes like fizzy rank carrots so I'm not getting any more. When I found out how to get the codes I went off and found some cans so I am letting people know where they are to get some codes and Coke Zone points (hopefully that helps a bit). I'm only 80 cans of carrotty fizz from a Selfridges £5 voucher . Woohoo.
Sorry for ranting - just trying to explain a little.0 -

AMEN to that!
That's why I'm reluctant to put my codes up, as this selfishness just happens and it's horrible.

Was just about to place an order with Asos but think it's pretty rude to just pinch the codes without saying so and thanking the poster
Catflea has put up 7 codes and all have been used but only one poster saying thanks
EDIT - I have thanks Catflea for taking the trouble to post even though I couldn't use any of the codes0 -

That's why I am reluctant to share more now despite having a couple of unopened cans in the fridge. I'd rather use them myself and by more clothes which is such a hardship *sigh*. Have PMed you with some other idea.
Could I ask why you can't PM single use codes? I'm sure I have never seen it in any rules and I feel really bad for the fair, polite MSErs who are missing out due to the terminally rude.0 -
Oh, I know & agree!
I have SIX codes now but I can't stand the thought of someone rude swiping them when there are genuine people like galvanizersbaby. Thanks hun - if it's any comfort in my experience of MSE the good kind people on here far outweigh the rude selfish ones so I console myself with that thought
Thanks again ladies x0 -
We are not allowed to PM codes. My previous posts have been removed from last night about it. It's against forum rules. On another note I saw the asos cans at Greggs today on my way past so they are still around in short supply.0

Please note that requesting someone to PM you a code, or indeed offering to PM others a code is something that we are unable to allow. As long as your code fits the criteria for posting, as can be seen in > OUR RULES < there should be no reason that you cannot post it on the Discount codes board.
Anyone asking/offering a code over PM will have unfortunately have their post removed and persistent such requests/offers may lead to further action.

The codes are fine to post as they come with a can of Diet Coke so belong to the person giving them away. The problem is that they are single use so people are coming on here and taking them without saying so. That frustrates both the giver and the people they are meant for. Surely saying you've used a code and saying thanks is not a huge hardship!!!! That's why the codes started to be PMed and I hold my hands up and admit that was my idea not realisng it was a no no. Could an exception be made in the case of a once only code? It seems harsh that people who post here regularly and help others miss out on what is meant to be given to them. I hope I have explained my point and look forward to a board guide reply. I am hoping some rules are flexible in this sort of case.0

afraid not
would be nice if people indicated when they had use a code but some people don't seem to have the manners to do soEx forum ambassador

Thank you for the response. I'm sorry that I can't help people on here who are lovely and are going to miss out. Makes me
that there are so many ignorant rude folk spoiling it for others but that's life I suppose.
