this has been something thats been playing on my mind. Everlong is pretty much our song so i think i'd like to go in on the acoustic version of that. I love the song Teardrop by massive attack so maybe as the guests wait that could be quite funky and as we leave Lonestars Amazed. My problem? i am such a sentimental tart that by the end of it with the music I am likely to be a puddle in the middle of the floor. I listened to the string quartet version of everlong but find it a bit harsh. I do love barbers adagio to strings so thats another possiblity. I know amazed will get me though. A friend had it at her wedding years ago and it reduced me to a blubbering wreck then! wah!

Is everyone having music for the guests arriving? I haven't a clue what to have but think we would like to do it. We are also having come what may and jason mraz I'm yours for signing the register and accidentally in love by the counting crows for walking out, it's the one of the songs from Shrek 2.

I think Run is a lovely song & I've always taken the lyrics to mean sticking by someone even if apart sometimes? I do prefer the origional snow patrol version though (but then I am a snow patrol fan!)

im walking down the aisle to either 'you raise me up' or 'the rose' (either by westlife not originals as have been a lifelong dedicated westlife fan!)

signing the register to 'i'm yours' by jason myraz and 'chasing cars' by snow patrol

Walking out to 'amazed' by Lonestar (love it!)

and our first dance is to 'rule the world' by take that (has always been our song and im soooo excited!) xxx

I have finally finalised my music today - Yay!

Our co-ordinator at our venue recommended putting together about 15 mins worth of music to play as our guests come into the room and take their seats - after lots of thinking (and lots of searching) I have chosen:

1. Life in Technicolour (Instrumental) - Cold Play
2. Glasgow Love Theme - Love Actually (my fave film ever! )
3. Bittersweet Symphony (Instumental) - The Verve
4. Portugese Love Theme - Love Actually
5. Dietro Casa - Ludovico Einaudi (this makes me cry when I listen to it!)

I am walking in to: Kissing you (instrumental) - Theme Romeo & Juliet
Signing the register to: Silent Sigh - Badly Drawn Boy
Walking out to: All you need is Love - Beatles
