Well I don't know where all you folks live but round here the wind and rain has bought with it a fine coating of yellow dust which seems to have smothered everything in sight. Don't know whether it's sand from the Saraha, but the car has a light coating of it and my outdoor tomatoes are all smothered too.
  • Wish it would rain here...getting fed up of DH moaning the ground is too hard/dry/dusty to do any real gardening on the allotment. Had the odd 10 second shower here but apart from that we have had FABULOUS weather all Summer! My tan is fab :D

Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

Had no rain here for days... not even a spitting.. i coudl do with it so much as the ground needs it and so does my rain bucket!!

could have done with it even more today as I have just spent 4 hrs clearing a new space 6x6ft.. patio and paths which were overgrown... but I had fun lol

  • No rain in the Midlands for about 4 weeks. I don't like rain. Can't believe I am still having to water the garden though.

  • Had to spend an hour watering every day since start of July, first to days off this job at least. Probably have to start again tomorrow. If you see someone wandering through Bedford next week looking like they're pulling a hose it'll be me on holiday.
