To bundle or not to bundle? (ebay clothing)

Hi all

Having a dilemma, I have a fair few items of girls and ladies clothing to go on Ebay, after having had a clearout and weightloss:D I am just wondering whether to bundle them (seperate girls and ladies) or to sell individually:rolleyes: Bundling does make it easier, but I did this last year and lost out big time, stuff only went for 99p:eek: The buyer was delighted and even emailed me saying they felt guilty as the clothing was so lovely, but I just put it down to you win some, you lose some:p But, tbh could really do with the dosh atm, even if its only a few quid, has anyone had any success with bundles? There seems to be a lot of girls clothing on Ebay just now, it seems pretty saturated:confused:

Looking forward to reading your replies, thank you.

I had the same dilemma a few weeks back with some childrens clothing... I ended up listing stuff that was BNWT or only worn a couple of times seperately and then listed lots of other stuff in bundles... almost all of the individual items went but only one of the bundles sold.

I was quite pleased they didn't get snapped up for the starting price of 99p actually... I've just gotta relist them all as individual lots now though...

It's a lot of hassle listing and posting things out seperately but it saves you being gutted when you have to sell a bundle for 99p!

I have found that baby clothes dont tend to sell very well individually unless you have something quite special, so have sold mine in bundles. Any clothes worth selling from aged 2 & up tend to do better individually. Try promoting your other clothes in your listing wording & you may find one person buys alot so you can combine postage.

Hi i had the same thing recently and ended up listing them as individual item, as i found that buyers tend to prefer to get them delivered than have the hassle of picking them up. If you list them slightly cheaper than 99p they attract more attention too. HTH

I find womens clothes do better individually as very rarely women will want a new wardrobe, they will probably just be looking for a new pair jeans, top for a night out etc

Baby clothes do well bundled if theyre non branded clothes, things like next etc do better alone
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • Hi. I sell children's/baby clothing, I would say do Bundles with some good items say from Next, Boden and then some from shops like Matalan or Primark. I would say if you are doing Bundles to either start at a price that is the minimum you want for them or do a Buy It Now with Best Offer and add on a few pounds and see what bids you get.

If you have Next girls clothing that sells quite well if it's in sets like the skirt, tops and tights, or dresses and tights. Don't know about women's clothing as I don't really sell any, have had a pair of Next trousers up quite a few times but still not getting any bids on them.

Can't advise on baby clothes but I've just had a massive wardrobe clear out (also due to weight loss) and have had quite a successful few months on ebay. I listed items individually, starting most at 99p. A few only made that but the vast majority went for a good bit more and several worn items (although only worn once or twice maybe) sold for more than I paid for them originally!
